The Dog Park Regulars

Soraya and Dash's dogs always play together at the evening park, and a mix-up with the leashes finally gets the two owners talking.
Every evening, Soraya walks her dog to the park. The park is near her building. Around six o'clock, another dog always runs straight to play with hers. The dog's owner is a young man named Dash.
Soraya and Dash never really talk. They just wave and watch their dogs play together every evening.
One evening, it is time to leave. Both owners clip leashes onto their dogs in the dark. Soraya picks up the wrong leash by mistake.
She notices only when the dog beside her stops and sits down. "Wait," Dash calls out. "I think that's my dog's leash." Soraya looks down, confused.
She sees a different color leash in her hand. "Oh no, you're right," she says, laughing. "I'm so sorry about that."
They switch leashes and laugh about the mix-up. "Well, now we actually know each other," Dash says.
"I'm Soraya," she says, holding out her hand. "I'm Dash," he says, shaking it with a smile.
From that evening, they walk to the park together every day. Their dogs still run ahead of them, just like before.
