The Missing Garden Gnome

Ines's garden gnome disappears overnight, and she searches the yard to find out what happened to it.
Ines had a small garden in front of her house. She kept a stone gnome next to the flowers. She loved the little gnome very much.
One morning, Ines watered her flowers. She stopped and looked at the corner of the garden. The gnome was not there.
Ines looked around the garden. She checked behind the flowers. She checked near the fence. The gnome was nowhere.
She knocked on her neighbor's door. "Hi, Felix. Did you see my garden gnome?" she asked.
"No, I didn't," Felix said. "Maybe the wind moved it. It was very windy last night."
Ines thanked him and walked back to her garden. She looked at the bushes near the fence. Something small and gray was inside the bushes.
She pushed the leaves apart. There was her gnome! It fell into the bushes during the storm.
Ines picked up the gnome and cleaned it. She carried it back to its place by the flowers.
"There you go," she said. "Back where you belong."
She watered the flowers one more time and went inside for breakfast.
