The Substitute in Room 12

A substitute teacher walks into the wrong classroom, and a student named Baxter quietly guides her to the right one.
Ms. Calder was a substitute teacher for the day. She looked at her room list quickly. It said Room 12, English class.
She walked down the hall and found a door. The number above it read "21," not "12." She walked inside anyway.
Twenty history students looked up from their desks. Ms. Calder looked at her papers again. Something was clearly wrong.
"Is this English class?" she asked the room. A few students shook their heads slowly. "This is history," one boy said.
Baxter sat near the door and raised his hand. "Room 12 is downstairs," he said. "I can show you the way."
Ms. Calder thanked him and grabbed her bag. Baxter led her down two flights of stairs. They passed the library and the office.
"Here it is," Baxter said. He pointed at a door marked 12. Ms. Calder thanked him again.
"You saved me a lot of time," she said. Baxter smiled and hurried back to his own class.
He arrived at history class a few minutes late. His teacher just smiled and waved him in.
