Stefan's office offers two trainings this Thursday. Both happen at the same time, two o'clock. He can only attend one.

The second training teaches a new spreadsheet program. His team uses spreadsheets every single day. This class saves people time each week.
Stefan makes a short list of reasons. Public speaking helps with meetings later. Spreadsheets help right now with daily work.
He thinks about his busy month ahead. Three big reports are due very soon. He needs strong spreadsheet skills now.
Stefan signs up for the spreadsheet training. He tells his manager his simple reason. "I need this one for my reports," he says.
"Good choice," his manager says. "We can sign you up for public speaking next month."
Stefan feels a little relieved about his decision. He marks Thursday on his calendar.
